eVille is an multiplayer social card game where you play in the real world at the places you visit every day. Your goal, as one of the world’s greatest super villians, is to take over the world one Place at a time.
Before you take over the world, you’ll need to equip some cards. And you can click the Identity slot above the tutorial panel to display the cards you own that can fit in this slot. Then click the “Equip” button underneath the Mad Scientist card to equip it. Identity cards could boost your defenses and make you harder to knock out.
You can swap out your equipped cards as you find new ones. Cards can be traded, collected, or dropped. Better cards make you a more powerful player!
To fund your empire, you’ll need to play businesses at Places
Your Goal:
Collect and use cards to take over Places, complete Evil Plans, battle other players and become the greatest eVille Genius on Facebook!
1. Take over the world by checking in to Facebook Places more than anyone else to become Mastermind everywhere you go!
2. Play Business cards at Places to make coins to finance your schemes!
3. Attack other players, their Lairs, and their Businesses to prove who’s boss.
4. Complete Evil Plans to get coins, experience and other rewards.
The Interface:
* Profile: Quick access to all of your important stats.
* My Deck: Contains cards that are not equipped or in play.
* Evil Plans: Manage and complete your evil plans to earn rewards.
* Battle: Attack players that are closest to you, in your Evil League or your Rivals.
* Places: Displays a list of nearby locations for check-in and a map for you to navigate to all the available Places in the world.
* Market: Where you purchase cards using coins or Atoms for your game play.
About Cards:
Your cards define your abilities. Collect more powerful cards to become a more powerful player, but beware… use any card too much and it will wear out!
* Weapon cards affect how well you hit and damage your opponent.
* Identity cards defend against attacks and reduce damage taken.
* Minion cards can give many varied benefits to your stats.
* Special Attack cards allow you to attack another player from a safe distance.
* Business and Lair cards generate coins for you to use.
* Restore cards refill your Health, Energy and Stamina.
* Ammo cards refill your weapons.
* Building, Weapon and Identity Modifier cards improve the abilities of those cards to which you add them.
Acquiring and Collecting Cards:
1. Buy most individual cards and card packs with in-game Coins or purchased Atoms.
2. Card packs contain a mix of card categories. Higher-level packs have better cards.
3. Visit Places often. Every time you visit, you’ll have a chance to find bonus cards and you may find cards that other players have dropped!
4. Dropped cards land at the place closest to the player who drops them and will quickly wear out if not picked up.
Checking In:
1. You can check in to any Place as often as you like, but only one check-in every 12 hours applies toward becoming Mastermind of a specific Place.
2. If you cannot find the Place you are at in the Places list, you must use Facebook Places to create it. Click here to learn how!
3. Remember, when creating a new Place, please use real names such as “Dunkin’ Donuts” instead of “eville doughnut store” as ALL Facebook users, not just eVille game players, will be able to see what you have added!
Battle:
1. You only get experience and rewards for attacking players near or above your level.
2. “Special Attack” cards have a limited number of uses, but do a lot of damage.
3. To win battles you must equip yourself with the best cards!
4. Weapon, Identity, and Minion cards will change your combat abilities when they are equipped – try them all to see what they do!
Evil Plans:
You will need to have all requirements for an Evil Plan in place before you will be allowed to complete that plan. Requirements may include:
* using energy
* owning a certain card
* having a certain card equipped
* having certain card(s) in play
* having completed other evil plans
* having a certain league size
* owning and “burning” a card or cards
* being checked in at a place
New plans will unlock as you reach higher levels.
Lairs:
1. You are allowed to play one lair at each Place into which you’ve checked-in.
2. Try to play lairs at the most popular Places. You’ll get a cut of the coins from businesses owned by other players at that Place.
3. Stronger lairs get a larger cut of the coins, so remember to replace weaker lairs with stronger ones.
Businesses:
1. Business earn coins when played at a Place.
2. Business also sell other game cards. More powerful businesses sell better items netting the card owner more coins!
3. You are allowed to play only one of each business at each Place.
4. Once the coins have reached their maximum at a business, you must collect those coins before that business will start adding coins again.
Awards:
Impress friends by earning awards! Ways to earn awards in eVille include:
1. Check in to more Places, more often.
2. Set up lairs and business cards at the places you frequent.
3. Start and win more battles.
4. Complete all your evil plans.
Experience:
Play often… your Stamina, Health and Energy only take minutes to regenerate. You gain levels and increase your rank with earned experience points (XP). You earn XP by:
1. Collecting coins from a full lair or business (worth 1 XP).
2. Completing evil plans (variable XP per Evil Plan finished).
3. Attacking other players and attacking their buildings (variable XP per attack).
